What we already hold and what is outstanding. Derived from the series actually received rather than from a fixed timetable, so it cannot drift out of step with reality.

“Awaiting” is the period following the one we hold, and the day count runs from the end of that period. Publication normally falls in the first half of the following month, so a few days' wait is ordinary. The “fixes next year” marker appears on the November figures, from which the employer-loan rate and the late-payment surcharge are set for the whole following year.
